What is Fren-a-kid?
Fren-a-kid is an early-stage supervised community concept where kids can find age-banded interest spaces, with adults in the loop from the start.
Who is it for?
We are designing for kids who want a friendly place to explore shared interests and for parents or guardians who want clear visibility and meaningful controls.
Can kids message anyone?
No. Public direct messages are off by default. Conversations are designed around moderated group spaces, with safety settings and guardian involvement built into the experience.
What can a parent or guardian control?
Guardians will be able to approve access, choose age-appropriate spaces, review key settings, and receive clear updates about their child’s community experience.
When will early access open?
We are inviting families in small, thoughtful groups. Join the waitlist and we’ll share early-access updates as the experience becomes ready to try.
